Power, telephone, and signal wires near the roof. The signal wires lead to antennae on the roof. The telephone wires presumably are used for telemetry. The ample power supply was likely because of rack-mounted equipment nearby, probably related to the transmitters on the roof. (From Exploring Nanuet Pavilion)

This key-port switch somehow controls the roof access door. Note that the screws are exposed; you could take this apart easily. (From Exploring Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI))

The roof access is slightly more complicated than just pushing the door open. Note the electromagnetic lock in the upper left corner of hte door. You'll at least need a screwdriver. (From Exploring Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI))
