A New York, A New Year

Next: Finally we're here! The line outside was inappropriate. Lots of line cutting, pushing, and general nastiness. But we were feeling way too good to worry!

Previous: This was a bit weird... we just left Mike's aunt's apartment in Irving Plaza. As we crossed the street about a block away from Webster Hall, we noticed this guy laying down on the street possibly pooled in blood. I quickly snapped some pictures as Mike C rushed us by, insisting that we not get involved. To me it looked like the guy got hit by a car. Then, oddly, it looked like the driver exited his car and proceeded to throw a punch or two at the guy on the ground, for some unknown reason. I let the first cops I saw nearby know about it. Without saying a word, they nodded at each other and headed off. The silent coolness of it all reminded me of agents in the Matrix.

No one is standing nearby on the sidewalk here because there was a guy laying in the street right behind the grey car parked at the corner. Everyone was standing way back and it looked like someone was calling 911.
